Colorado Cross Stitcher Exclusive! Harriet Holtby 1836 by The Scarlett House

This is an exclusive three years in the making, and we're delighted to bring it to you this month. Harriet was 11 when she stitched up this sampler, including a beautiful berry border, a pair of angels, Adam and Eve, and a mix of pretty flowers and animals. (Personally, I think she was partial to flowers, as she tucked them in every open space that she could find!)

We have kits available with your choice of hand-dyed cottons (from Weeks and Classic Colorworks), or NPI silks (which is what the model was stitched with.) Your kit also includes the Dolley Madison fabric from Needle and Flax that the model was stitched on. The kits come with the pattern, fabric and threads. We also have the pattern for sale individually.

The thread sets were based on stitching one over two on 40 count. If you intend to stitch two over two or two over one on 18 ct, you may need an extra thread pack. (Email us and we can take care of that for you.)

18, 36, 40 and 46 counts come with a Fat Quarter. 32 count comes with a Fat Half.

Note: This is a pre-order. We will be shipping the kits out in the order received, with the silk kits going first, since the silk packs are all here and ready. The hand-dyed sets should be complete in a couple of weeks, if not before. (If you add other things to your order, we'll hold everything until we can ship the order complete with your kit.)
